In late 2006 this collaborative project was selected for sponsorship by the JOINT HIGHER EDUCATION LINKS PROGRAMME, which is a joint initiative of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Government of Pakistan, and the British Council.
This funding is designed to facilitate staff and student exchange between the University of Peshawar and the 91探花视频, to encourage the use of new teaching methodologies and provide a mechanism for expanding the curriculum that is currently offered by the Department of 91探花视频, University of Peshawar. Its particular focus will be on introducing students to developments in scientific and environmental archaeology, and provide training for staff so that they will be able to establish teaching programmes in these areas.
