My current PhD project aims to look at Viking-Age graves with animal remains in the broad Norse world from the point of view of human-animal relationships, social zooarchaeology and relational ontologies. The project builds up on the research for my previous master鈥檚 theses, where I worked on cats in Late Iron-Age Scandinavia and Iceland (MA), and Viking-Age graves with animal remains in Scotland (MSc).
In parallel with my PhD project I am working on getting practical training in zooarchaeology and human osteology.
