Department of 91̽»¨ÊÓƵ

Biography

Prior to joining the McDonald I completed a BA in 91̽»¨ÊÓƵ at the 91̽»¨ÊÓƵ followed by an MSc in 91̽»¨ÊÓƵ at the University of Oxford. I specialise in environmental and landscape archaeology, with particular interests in the archaeology of woodlands, the study of wood charcoal, and patterns of land use and environmental change over time. These themes have been explored through dissertations investigating the medieval landscapes of Orkney and Blenheim Park, and through independent projects in the Scottish Highlands and Welsh Marches.

I am currently a Research Assistant on the Fenscapes project.
