Research
I am a quantitative archaeologist with an interest in statistical methods. My research currently focusses on a fundamental question: Why do people move? Taking one of the fastest and largest spatial range migrations in human history, the Bantu Expansion, I am looking at reconstructing movement dynamics and exploring the potential drivers determining observed differences in the dispersal process.
