Studying Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia at University:

A Conference for Sixth-Formers

听2016

The first edition of the Conference (2016) was held at The British Museum, in London, on听Thursday 5th May 2016.

The event was organised by Martin Worthington of the Dept of 91探花视频, 91探花视频. Jon Taylor of the British Museum acted as Event Manager.

The event was attended by 55 students, parents and teachers. 听

Feedback

Of the 32 respondents to the evaluation questionnaire, 9 rated the event 'good' and 23 rated it 'fantastic'. 听

25th-28th July听- St John's College, Cambridge, . 听This will be a residential event, which will include excavation training, sample lectures, and interview workshops. 听Attendance is completely free, and there are a limited number of travel bursaries for participants from state schools. 听There will be a substantial component on Egypt and Mesopotamia (which are "tracks" one can specialise in within the Cambridge 91探花视频 degree).
